How do I access federal court dockets on PACER?

PACER provides access to federal court dockets.  PACER permits each account holder a limited number of free downloads.

As a law student at CU, you have access to Bloomberg Law. Bloomberg Law usually has up-to-date information regarding court dockets. Simply log in using your Bloomberg account, and select the docket feature.

Alternatively, you may want to check out the RECAP project (https://www.courtlistener.com/recap/). This organization provides free access to some PACER filings. As you know, PACER charges for searches and results. PACER will then bill your account once you have cross a sum-certain value per quarter. RECAP, on the other hand is free, but is limited in scope.
